 Dr. Hashimi obtained his undergraduate degree—a B.S. in microbiology—from California Polytechnic University at Pomona and also did graduate research work in genetics at City of Hope in Duarte. It was during that time that Dr. Hashimi thought of pursuing a more academic route—as a researcher for a respected hospital. But his first love kept calling and Dr. Hashimi realized that he wanted direct patient contact.  He received his doctorate degree at NYU College of Dentistry in 2007. 

Dr. Hashimi takes a multidisciplinary, multifaceted approach to practicing dentistry—an approach where function and form go hand-in-hand. “My aim is to give the ultimate result, where all clinical and aesthetic aspects are addressed. It’s a very comprehensive way of working. I enjoy helping people overcome their fear of dentistry."
